Upcoming changes to the RICS HomeBuyer Report – by DWH Surveyors

The RICS HomeBuyer Report is being updated and will now be offered in two different formats:

  • RICS HomeBuyer Report (Survey)
  • RICS HomeBuyer Report (Survey & Valuation)
The latter report including the Valuation has the added benefit of a re-build cost estimate which can be useful for buildings insurance quotes.

The logic behind the changes is that most buyers will already have paid for a valuation by their mortgage lender, so do not require a second valuation.

DWH Surveyors offer both types of RICS HomeBuyer Reports in the Colchester, North Essex and South Suffolk areas. Our surveys are competitively priced; each survey is followed up by a ‘heads-up’ call to the client and the detailed report emailed within 3 working days of the survey.
