Trainee Negotiator Position

About us
We are a young and growing firm of estate agents specialising in middle to high-value properties throughout Essex and Suffolk. We are looking for a full-time trainee negotiator to join our team based at Boxted, near Colchester.

About the role
This busy role will involve working with the Director and another negotiator to support our clients throughout their house sale or purchase process. Your responsibilities will include managing enquires from buyers, arranging viewings, negotiating offers and overseeing sale chains through to completion. You will need to attend house viewings, therefore a driver’s licence is required.

The role involves some weekend work (on a rota basis) and commences with a nine-month probationary period with a fixed salary. Subject to successful completion of the probationary period, there will be an opportunity to review your salary, based on your performance and the performance of the firm.

About you
We are a customer-focused business that looks after its clients and establishes and nurtures long-term and positive relationships with them. To succeed in this role, you need to be conscientious and customer-focused, and enjoy working with people. You need to have excellent communications skills (both written and oral), attention to detail and a methodical approach to task management. You do not need any previous experience in estate agency as all training will be provided, although an interest in real estate will help you along.
