Why be beside the seaside?

By Ness Streete.

The idealistic dreamed of scenario of living by the sea, a stones’ throw from the beach may not be as far away in reality as you may think, and what better place to look to make this vision a reality than Frinton-on-Sea on the North Essex Coastline. With its easy train links to London and further afield, local schools and access to colleges, it is now no longer just for those golden oldies, it really does have something for everyone. Gone are the days when this seaside town was only for the retired among us. It has so much to offer the whole family and we cannot rate this stunning location highly enough.

Through those prestigious gates, you are straight into the very heart of this idyllic locale, mentioned in 1086 in the Domesday Book as Frientuna (meaning fenced-in or enclosed town or settlement). It is a place of outstanding natural beauty, with properties lovingly maintained and tree lined avenues affording beautiful frontages in every size and shape.

Connaught Avenue is filled with shops, purveyors and nooks of interests for all tastes, from antiques to boutiques, furnishings, clothing outlets, an amazing privately owned book shop and art gallery, jewellers, bakers, fishmongers, butcher and more. The ice cream parlour sits on the far end of this avenue, enticing you with every flavour imaginable and the tea rooms and cafes offer light refreshment no matter the British weather.

After a stroll across the greensward and down the beach you can treat yourself to a well earned glass of wine at the popular Wine Boutique before a bite to eat at one of the many eateries including Pier One who serve an array of fresh fish dishes, the Lock & Barrel for the more traditional family pub meals, a choice of two Indian restaurants and of course Avenue Bistro, a stunningly located restaurant with an incredible menu for those special occasions.

We are yet to mention the Frinton Summer Theatre, who’s boards have recently been trod by none other than Sir Ian McKellan, nor have we enticed you with the Tennis Club, Cricket Club and of course the fantastically maintained Golf Club with its terrace overlooking the course and the beach. There are lines of beautifully kept beach huts, providing a splash of vibrance and colour along the sea wall and space as far as the eye can see. There really in nothing not to fall in love with in this spectacular setting. May we invite you to take a look at a piece of British geographical perfection. Peruse the properties available across a plethora of budgets and imagine a life just a little more peaceful.

Our approach to marketing your property orientates around the characteristics of the modern housing market, where serious buyers now search almost exclusively on sites like Rightmove and Zoopla. As such, we have put aside most offline marketing to allow an increased investment into the online advertisements for every home we market. This includes an extensive outsourced professional photo shoot provided at our cost and without any lengthy contractual tie in. Our marketing is backed by an attentive service and regular communication from staff who have decades of experience marketing some of the finest homes in the region.
